So uncomfortably warm. It’s okay if I sit still, but I’m not really a “sit still” sort of person. So I move, I fidget, I get coffee … coffee I tell you. And so I begin to sweat. To stick to things. To leave footprints in the driveway. Yes, it’s that hot.
Yesterday was pretty good. Came into Boston. Realized that I had absconded with capital_l‘s T pass. Contacted her and arranged to get together with her and technolope for lunch. Sat at StarbuXXX until the appointed time, cranking through product support. Lunch was fun, but somewhere between arriving at the coffee shop and leaving, it had become insanely hot.
Went to BDC after lunch, and worked on software for a while, including a fun little app to work the card readers that secure their facilities. I love stuff like that. Send a string down a tcp pipe, and hear a little motor make a “click” sound. Wave a card in front of a reader and see lines appear in a log file.
So hot. Brain not working right. Time to go to StarbuXXX and sit in the AC.
