Dwan.net

I finally mustered the energy to respond to the moron who owns “dwan.net”:

Thanks for responding.

> l. How much are you offering in $$ ?

I pay about $35 / year to register my domain. I assume you paid a similar amount. It's not a commercial venture for me, so I won't offer much. $50 seems fair to me.

> 2. My first name is dwan and since you have taken dwan.org so I
> reserved dwan.net.

I've never met or heard of anyone with the first name "Dwan" before. Do other people in your family use this name as well? I'm curious.

> 3. WHat occupation or profession are you in? what do you plan to use
> it for? We could for mutual courtesy refer to each other so those
> looking for you can be referred to you.

I have no interest in commercial uses of the domain. It's purely personal.

If we can't work out an exchange, I'll be happy to place a link on my page leading to yours, as long as there is nothing offensive on your site (pop-up ads, "low, low low mortgage rates!" and the like).

> and business coach, etc. and I had planned to use it in the future,

Let me know if you're interested in giving up the domain.

I have no expectation of a response. If he comes back, it’ll be something about how it’s very valuable to him as a “writing,” and he couldn’t possibly let it go for less than $200.
