So, I’ll be in CA the coming week, living my usual rock-star fantasy life:
Monday: Fly to CA.
Tuesday – Thursday:
8:30 – 11:30am: Provide training, insight, and hopefully non-lethally boring edu-tainment to the fine people of Stanford University
12:30 – whenever: Listen to the fine people of Stanford University and try to offer advice on how to do research computing for the life sciences better / faster / cheaper. Maybe touch a computer now and then. Fall critically behind on email.
Thursday evening:
Meet amnesiadust and go see the House Jacks in concert. This is going to rock.
Friday:
Hang out at amnesiadust‘s place of employment (big, national physics lab). Nod vigorously whenever I understand something.
Weep softly at my email stack.
Saturday:
Hang with amnesiadust. Attempt to resolve remaining major obstacles to world peace and personal happiness. Presumably this will involve some sort of beer and dancing.
Sunday:
Fly home.
