Support

The support queue is savage today. Don’t know how it got this deep. The fact that the karate school is closed today is making for a long day of wanting to kick something and being denied. Perhaps it’s a good time to return to the Navy Seals DVD.

Took delivery of the dining room set. Gorgeous. Discovered that our hutch was rubbing a spot of the new paint off the wall. Fortunately, it’s in a good place to hang a picture or a mirror or something. Rasa-freakin’ Behr paint doesn’t seem to stick to the primer. The primer is awesome, and I’ve never scraped through it…but the color paint just comes right off. Dammit.

Also took delivery of our Vonage box. Going to try this VoIP thing. If it works okay, it’ll represent a net savings of between $40 and $60 per month on the phone and internet. Plus, we’ll get to fire Verizon for our land line. Anything that involves firing Verizon is a good thing. Plus, we’ll be able to get a second phone line, which is unsupported by the single twisted pair coming into our house. I’m averaging between 2 and 3Mb/s download and 451Kb/s upload. That rocks, and totally dominates our observed DSL performance.

Whoop…another support request just came in. Back to it.
