I’m safely home again, thanks for asking. On the plane, immediately upon receiving my glass of ice water, I poured its entire contents into my lap. Well, more onto my seat, to be soaked up my the seat of my pants … but some did wind up on the lap. The nice girl next to me offered me her napkin. That, plus my napkin, absorbed something like 2% of the spill. It was awesome.
