We’ve successfully arrived in Haiti, and are staying at St. Josephs, a medical facility up the hill from town. It’s basically everything that we had imagined: hot, hot hot, and very sunny. We plan to enjoy (according to the Lonely Planet) the “best sunset view of Port au Prince.”
Just a quick post to let everyone know that things are going well here, and we’ve made it through the most harrowing part of the trip: The grind of people outside the airport.
