Stuff

We went to see Daniel Craig kicks everyone’s ass Quantum of Solace, and it was good. Like, “good” as in “that was a good movie,” good. Sort of “film cinema good,” good. I found myself noticing symbolism and crap. Ungh! Plus, there was ass kicking. I liked that part too.

atgatg, this is for you:

On my way, I’m making it.

Remember that reporter who talked to me at the Obama riot celebration when I was in Santa Cruz? I made the Santa Cruz Sentinel.

Judo

I haven’t written much about Judo since I busted my shoulder. That’s because there hasn’t been much to write about. I go to work out, when I’m not on the road, and I say things like “no throws for me, bum shoulder” a lot. Along the way I’ve gotten a lot better. I’m perhaps 90% . . . → Read More: Judo

For what it’s worth, I’m enjoying it very much.

Also: happy ‘day of the dead.’

Sack failure

My backpack is failing. A second major pouch has just become un-zippable. I currently have two binder-clips holding my stuff in my sack. This is both risky and undignified.

I require a new sack.

The floor is now open for both men and women to discuss the merits of their particular favorite sack. I will . . . → Read More: Sack failure
