My beloved laptop is at the shop. Fortunately, it’s the competent shop and not the godforsaken Apple retail outlet…but it still makes me feel sad and alone. My sweet little laptop. I spend more time with it than with, well, with any other piece of matter that I didn’t grow … outside of my two pieces of jewlery. <\/p>\n
Anyway, working on the emergency loaner 12″ powerbook that we at the company<\/a> have for times exactly like these. I did the minimum info transfer required for functionality, assuming that I’ll be back to my real environment in a couple of days anyway, and transferring 18GB of user environment (mostly iPhoto and iTunes, thanks for asking) was just a pain.
