I.e:  Every single time Safari sends an HTTP request to a server, it self identifies as &#8220;SAFARI&#8221;.  This causes some pages to reject it saying, for example, &#8220;You need to use Netscape!  Download it here!&#8221;.  We all know that this drives me freakin&#8217; nuts.  I would like to have a way to tell safari (or firefox, or whatever the cool kids are using these days) to pretend that it&#8217;s netscape, for that one request, or at that one site.  I understand that this opens the possibility that some non-standard crap will fail.  I&#8217;m okay with this.  I just don&#8217;t want to download goddamn Nutscape again.<\/p>\n<p>For extra credit, make it a daemon that sits at the network level and translates requests on the fly.  That way it&#8217;s browser independent.  <\/p>\n<p>Does this exist?
