On Friday, they packed and loaded all my stuff. At that point, they gave me a delivery window of between the 1st and the 6th for delivery in Rhode Island, with a guess that it would be on the 1st.<\/p>\n
On Monday, they had not yet generated a weight for purposes of pricing. Stuff was being unloaded into the Saint Paul warehouse.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, I was told that my stuff weighs 10,560 pounds. Holy crap!<\/b> This is 2,500 pounds over the weight on which our price estimate was made. Stuff was still in the warehouse.<\/p>\n
Today, I learned that they have not yet scheduled<\/b> a pickup by a long haul truck. Stuff is still in the warehouse. I also don’t have any idea what my charge will be to take delivery. I’ve been assured that there’s no chance that my stuff will arrive tomorrow (the 1st). The woman at the warehouse assured me that we would probably have a schedule “this week” and then probably get it out of the warehouse and on a truck “next week.” After that, things get vague.<\/p>\n
Should I continue to roll with it, or should I start to bust heads? I want to be mellow and friendly as long as possible, but this is starting to stink of a crap-fest to me.<\/p>\n
