Good times were had all around as the party rolled from gallery to bar and onward.  <\/p>\n<p><!--more Pictures...--><\/p>\n<p>The piece is called &#8220;The trouble with algorithmic art.&#8221;  It&#8217;s a pair of transparencies mounted between plexiglass on the front of a bright-ass lightbox.  The image itself is the result of some crazy fluid flow simulation.  The &#8220;trouble&#8221; part is that even though there is explicitly no representational component in the image &#8230; the human brain is very good at finding meaning and representation in pictures.  This one in particular seems to be a great rorschach image.  <\/p>\n<p>What do you see?  Me?  I see a pretty butterfly.
