I hit a new low in road-warrior land last night: When we got back to Providence (11pm), I sat on the floor by the baggage carousel, got online, and while we waited for our bags I set up the car and hotel for the trip leaving the next morning (6:45am). <\/p>\n
This inspired a rough sketch of my top-N road-warrior moments. I’m not ready to share that sketch yet. It seemed cooler when I started the list than as I remembered that travel is fundamentally uncomfortable.<\/p>\n
This evening, I’m in Rockville, MD. Customer seems happy. I’m going back for another day of work tomorrow, then flying home by way of Baltimore. On the way, I’ll hopefully have dinner with sacredangle<\/a> and justkidding_nr<\/a>. <\/p>\n My computer is almost out of battery, because my cats chewed through my laptop power cable during the 5 hours I was home last night. Sadly, punishing them now would only punish the cute behavior where they greet me at the door.
